JFJ Aviation & Defence GmbH successfully updated The Royal Air Force´s (RAF) Night Vision Googles Training system – NVG at RAFCAM, Henlow, UK.
In collaboration with the U.S Company “NightReadiness LLc.” We delivered to RAFCAM a newest generation and cost-effective Night Vision Google training system. The binocular virtual NVG training system provides Airmen with a high-resolution, projector-based screen. The out of the Window view replicates what student, pilots and/or loadmasters expect during flight.
With newest generation we intend a NVG training system which is capable of SIMulating and STIMulating from Gen. I to Gen. III- NVGs of green and white phosphorus. Our training system is also able to offer a basic FLIR introduction and free and fixed scenarios in real time across a huge variety of terrains which is obviously not only the best training to airmen but also to ground Forces and Special forces.
Therefore, we can support students and trainees to have a more realistic learning experience that better prepares them for future flights in a wide variety of conditions. This technology is proven to help to improve readiness, response, and recovery through rapid, dynamic, realistic NVG effects on all types of terrain recognition and environments.
The handover took place on the 3rd of June 2022.
